Update: Monday, February 2, 2:30 PM
With continued icy conditions in our service area, GoCary will suspend operations at 5:00 PM on Monday, February 2 to ensure the safety of our passengers and employees. GoCary will resume fixed route and Tier 1 Door to Door service at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 3. Tier 2 and Tier 3 Door to Door service will remain suspended on Tuesday. We will continue to monitor changing weather conditions and will adjust as needed.

While the snow has stopped, the freezing temperatures and threat of black ice remain. GoCary is tentatively planning to start fixed route and Tier 1 Door to Door service at 12:00 PM on Monday, February 2. Tier 2 and Tier 3 Door to Door service will remain suspended on Monday. We will continue to monitor changing weather conditions and will adjust as needed to ensure the safety of our passengers and employees.

After assessing road conditions GoCary service will remain suspended on Sunday, February 1. Fixed Route and Door to Door Tier 1 service are planned to begin no earlier than 10:00 AM on Monday, February 2. Tier 2 and Tier 3 Door to Door service will remain suspended on Monday. We will continue to monitor changing weather conditions and will adjust as needed to ensure the safety of our passengers and employees.

GoCary is planning for a delay to the start of service on Sunday, February 1. Fixed Route and Door to Door Tier 1 service will begin at 10:00 AM. Tier 2 and Tier 3 Door to Door service will remain suspended on Sunday. We continue to monitor changing weather conditions and will adjust as needed to ensure the safety of our passengers and employees. As the potential for snow and wind continues to increase across the area, GoCary is making the following changes to service:

| Saturday, January 31 | All GoCary service suspended |
| Sunday, February 1 | Decision will be made by 2:00 PM on Saturday Plan for at least a delayed start to service for Fixed Route and Tier 1 Door to Door No Tier 2 or Tier 3 Door to Door service |

A winter storm watch has been issued for much of North Carolina. We are monitoring weather reports as the impact to our area is still uncertain, although we will likely see some amount of snow and windy conditions.
We do not currently anticipate changes to our service on Friday, January 30. We will make a decision about Saturday service by 2:00 PM on Friday.
